How do you make the deck feel unmistakably like us?
By looking deeper than calendar dates & monograms. Our story process uncovers your eras, rituals, people, places, objects, and quiet proofs of love. We select the details with the greatest visual and emotional potential, then direct them into one cohesive edition—so your deck feels as if you've been collecting it throughout your life together.
Can the artwork reflect the style of our wedding?
Yes. We can draw from your venue, color palette, florals, fashion, stationery, architecture, and overall atmosphere. The goal is not to copy your invitation suite onto playing cards, but to build an original design that feels completely at home within the world of your wedding.
Are our photographs and stories kept private?
Yes. Your materials are used to create your commission and are not treated as public content. We will never publish your photographs, names, private stories, or finished deck without your permission.

How much of the deck is custom?
The Unveiled Edition illustrates every Heart, every King, Queen, Jack, and Ace, both Jokers, the card back, and the tuck box. It also includes two Couples’ Game cards. The Avowed Edition carries your story through every numbered card in all four suits and adds priority production. In either edition, every element belongs to the same visual world.
What exactly do we receive?
Your commission includes 250 finished, poker-sized decks, each presented in its own custom tuck box. Every deck contains 54 playable cards plus two bonus Couple’s Game cards. Additional decks can easily be added to your order prior to print.
What are the Couples’ Game cards?
They are two bonus cards designed to give the deck a life after the wedding. Each introduces a way for the two of you to play through the deck together—revisiting the stories inside it, comparing what each of you remembers, and discovering details the other may have held onto differently. They are included in addition to the standard 54 playing cards, so none of the deck’s functionality is sacrificed.
Are these high-quality playing cards?
Yes. They are manufactured as real playing cards—not stationery cut into card shapes. Each deck is printed on 310 GSM black-core playing-card stock with a linen finish and protective varnish. The cards are standard poker size, fully opaque, and made to shuffle, deal, and return to the table for years after the wedding.

How far before our wedding should we begin?
Ten to twelve weeks gives the process comfortable room; we recommend allowing at least eight whenever possible. Production itself takes approximately three weeks after artwork approval, followed by delivery. If your wedding is closer, you may still submit your date. We review every request within 72 hours and only accept a commission after confirming that its timeline can be handled responsibly.
How does commission review work?
Every request is reviewed within 72 hours for wedding-date availability, creative scope, and studio capacity. We only accept commissions we believe we can execute at the intended standard and within an appropriate production window. If we cannot accept yours, your card will not be charged and any pending authorization will be released.
What will you need from us?
We ask for three things: complete our guided story assessment, share whatever reference material you have, and give us clear feedback when your artwork is ready to review. Professional photography is not required. Phone photos, old family pictures, screenshots, saved objects, venue references, and written descriptions can all give us what we need. Specific and meaningful is far more valuable than perfectly photographed.
How will we communicate throughout the process?
Once your commission is accepted, you will have one continuous project thread for questions, source material, feedback, and approvals. We will contact you at every meaningful milestone: when your assessment is received, when your story has been shaped into a creative direction, when your artwork is ready to review, when production begins, and when your decks ship. Questions can be sent by replying to any project email, and you can expect a response by the end of the following business day.
Can our planner or someone else be included?
Yes. Your planner or another trusted person is welcome to help gather details and be included in project communication. To keep approvals clear, we just ask for a single point of contact for final sign-offs.

What happens after we submit—and when are we charged?
Submitting your request places a temporary card authorization while we review your wedding date, requested edition, and studio capacity. You are not charged simply for applying. If accepted, the design installment is charged: $1,500 for the Unveiled Edition or $2,500 for the Avowed Edition. The production balance is charged only after you approve the artwork and choose to manufacture the decks.
Do we see the artwork before committing to production?
Yes. You will receive a complete digital proof of your entire custom deck before anything goes to print. Your commission includes dedicated revision rounds to make sure every detail is right, and we never begin manufacturing until you've given final approval.
What if we want something changed?
Every commission includes two dedicated revision rounds where we'll handle any tweaks you'd like.
— Production and Delivery
What happens after the artwork is approved?
After your final sign-off, we send your edition to print. Manufacturing takes about three weeks, followed by tracked shipping straight to your door.
Is shipping included?
Yes, standard tracked shipping to one US address is included in the production installment. Expedited, international, or split shipments can easily be arranged and quoted before print.
Can we order more than 250 decks?
Yes. You can easily add more decks beyond the included 250. Because the entire edition is printed together, increasing your quantity before production offers the most economical rate. We'll confirm your final count at artwork approval.
What if something goes wrong during production or delivery?
If a delay or production concern could affect your expected delivery, we will tell you promptly and explain the available options. If your decks arrive damaged or with a verified manufacturing defect, we will coordinate the appropriate correction or replacement.
